Work experience

  1. Full-Stack Developer

JPToms Holding · Dubai, UAE · remote

    April 2026 - August 2026
    • Company websites and a property platform built to UAE real estate regulations: Next.js and TypeScript frontends over Python services in FastAPI and Django REST Framework, on PostgreSQL (Neon / Supabase) with SQLAlchemy and Alembic migrations.
    • Main WhatsApp AI assistant in production, with its API built in Python (FastAPI, LangChain, LangGraph): it resolves the most frequent customer flows and escalates the rest to Zendesk.
  2. Full-Stack Developer

    Athens S.A.S. · Bogotá

    March 2026 - August 2026
    • Website refactor with Astro, GSAP and Three.js; component system and brand design tokens; backend adjustments.
    • React and Next.js applications on serverless PostgreSQL (Neon / Supabase).
    • Core Web Vitals, semantic markup and structured metadata audited on every delivery, alongside design and marketing.
    • Process automation with AI agents in production, connected to internal systems via MCP, with team usage guidelines.
  3. Full-Stack Developer

    TIVIT Latam · Bogotá

    January 2023 - November 2025
    • Over 70% of my stories delivered complete, frontend to backend, in the Digital Solutions Software Factory, in Agile Squads with DevOps practices, for 20 to 30 enterprise clients.
    • REST APIs and microservices in Node.js (NestJS, Express) and Python (Django REST Framework, FastAPI, Flask), under DDD and Clean Architecture.
    • Data-processing and automation jobs in Python (ETL, scheduled tasks) on Celery and Redis.
    • React and Next.js frontends in TypeScript on Atomic Design, with Redux and Zustand for state.
    • Reopened tickets under 5%; coverage near 80% on new code with Jest and pytest; p95 under 500 ms; availability above 99.9%.
    • OWASP Top 10 security (JWT, OAuth 2.0, RBAC), WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility and CI/CD with Docker and Kubernetes; 25 to 40 team pull requests reviewed monthly.
  4. Front-End Developer

    TIVIT Latam · Bogotá

    February 2021 - December 2022
    • Components and interfaces in JavaScript and React for enterprise clients. Promoted to full-stack within two years.
  5. Mentor · Instructor Team Director

Talento Tech (Colombian Ministry of ICT) · GLUD, Universidad Distrital Linux Group

    Leadership, teaching and community
    • Mentor in Python and Artificial Intelligence bootcamps at Talento Tech: at least 200 students trained, with personalized mentoring and tutoring.
    • GLUD (2023 - 2025): four courses designed from scratch (Linux from Zero, Advanced Linux, Scripting and Databases), plus Git and Free Software; 50 to 80 students trained.
    • Two years leading a team of 10 to 20 instructors, with their onboarding plans and all course material.
    • Active participant in FLISOL, Software Freedom Day and Linux Day.

The AI reads, the rules decide, the log explains.

An accounts-payable agent that reads invoices arriving by email, PDF, image or chat, pays only what the company's rules allow, and holds or escalates the rest with a reason. The model never sees the rules or the ledger: only verified invoice facts cross the trust boundary, sixteen pure rules decide, and every decision lands in a hash-chained log anyone can read.

    Tenancy-law answers with verified citations.

A retrieval-augmented system over Dubai, Spain, Colombia and Florida tenancy law, built evaluation-first: a 180-question golden set existed before the system, and every change passes a CI evaluation gate. It checks every citation against the retrieved text, declines when the law doesn't answer, and answers for the law in force on a chosen date.

Your photos become ads, your ads become sales.

A closed-loop AI storefront for WhatsApp sellers in Colombia. It turns phone photos into ad scenes, blocking any image that alters the real product; a sales agent answers customers only from the seller's catalog, with a price validator running outside the model; and every objection feeds a weekly brief for the next ads.

Awards

Hackathons in Bogotá have been more than taking part and winning: unique experiences that have kept me up to date and pushed me to deliver my very best, on the most cutting-edge technology available at the time.

  • 1st place

    CiberPaz 2025 Hackathon

    Colombian Ministry of ICT · Bogotá · 250+ participants · November 2025

A national challenge run by the Ministry of ICT together with Universidad Distrital, with more than 250 participants on the floor. Competing at that scale leaves nowhere to hide: you find out fast how you perform against a real deadline.

  • 1st place

Platanus Hack 2026 · AI Security track

    Bogotá · 100 participants · August 2026

The AI Security track: build with AI and defend it at the same time. The kind of weekend where the tooling is new to everyone on the team, and the only way through is to learn it fast and get the most out of it.

  • Podium

    Colombia 5.0 Hackathon

    Bogotá · 200+ participants · 2026

A national tech stage at Corferias: a podium among teams from all over the country. The format rewards whoever ships something that works and can explain why it matters.

About me

Eight years shipping products end-to-end, fluent on both sides of the stack. In TypeScript: React and Next.js frontends, Node.js APIs with NestJS and Express. In Python: REST APIs and services with FastAPI, Django REST Framework and Flask, background jobs with Celery and Redis. All of it on PostgreSQL.

I measure what I build. Five years in TIVIT Latam's Software Factory serving 20 to 30 enterprise clients. Over 70% of my stories delivered complete, frontend to backend. Reopened tickets under 5%. Coverage near 80% on new code with Jest and pytest. p95 under 500 ms. 25 to 40 team pull requests reviewed every month.

AI agents in production at two companies in 2026. At Athens: process automation with agents connected to internal systems via MCP. At JPToms, a UAE real estate company: the main WhatsApp assistant, with its API in Python (FastAPI, LangChain, LangGraph), escalating to Zendesk. I use Claude Code, Codex, Antigravity and OpenCode daily, while keeping full ownership of architecture, code review and quality.

Teaching is part of how I work. Mentor in Python and AI bootcamps at Talento Tech, with at least 200 students trained. At GLUD, my university's Linux group: four courses designed from scratch and two years leading a team of 10 to 20 instructors.

With my team, two first places and one podium in hackathons in Bogotá: CiberPaz 2025, the AI Security track at Platanus Hack 2026, and Colombia 5.0.

Looking for a senior full-stack role, in TypeScript or Python, to build in for the long term. Bogotá or remote.
